"The
bridge is a cityscape of beauty. From inception to completion, its design
is art; its purpose function.. The sky can be dark and gloomy, bright
and blue, cloudy and clear. The crossing changes every minute, every hour,
every day -- always breathtaking."
Caroline Crockett Caroline Crockett, a self-proclaimed amateur photographer, never shot photographs until she saw the emerging Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge from her apartment balcony. Her photographic essay "Going Up In Boston" was exhibited at the West End Branch of the Boston Public Library in June 2001. The Bunker Hill Museum in Charlestown displayed her photos throughout the summer of 2002. Caroline has donated her photographic collection to the Boston Public Library.
